About The Delancy Trust 1
The Delancy Trust 1 is an open-ended Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) that seeks to generate risk-adjusted returns through a systematic long-short investment strategy. The objective and purpose of the Fund is to carry on the activity of an open ended Category III AIF as permissible under the Applicable Law and for this purpose to arrange, make, manage and dispose of investments for Contributors. The Fund will
invest in a combination of equity and equity related securities in India, including derivatives and other permissible securities/instruments in accordance with Applicable Laws and the Fund Documents. The Fund is sector agnostic and does not propose to restrict its Portfolio Investments to dedicated investment sectors. The Fund will adopt a long-short trading strategy with exposure to derivatives, accordingly leverage will be a key component of the Fund’s investment strategy. By deploying systematic investment strategies, our team can turn inefficient markets and price dislocation between assets into investment returns for our investors. We are able to trade listed equity and equity like securities over short and medium term horizons to build a diverse and balanced portfolio across sectors.
